Custom software for mid-sized companies
You pay for 100 % of your software.
You use 60 %.
Your own software now costs a fraction of what it cost three years ago. WOLKK builds you the tool your processes actually need. No per-seat licence, no features nobody ever opens.

The invoice nobody adds up
Add up what you rent every year.
40 licences at €45 a month is €21,600 a year. Over five years, €108,000. For a tool you cannot change, do not own, and whose price the vendor can raise at any time.
Then there are the costs that appear on no invoice: the spreadsheet next to the system, because the system cannot do that one step. The double entry between two tools. The half hour on Monday morning where someone copies data from A to B.

What changed
Custom software used to be too expensive. That is no longer true.
Mid-sized companies took off-the-shelf software for years. Not out of enthusiasm, but because of the price. Your own software meant a development team for months. That calculation looks different today.
AI-assisted development has cut the effort for the standard work: data models, screens, interfaces, tests. What remains is the work only a human can do. Understanding how your business actually runs, and making the right calls.
The result: projects that would have needed a six-figure budget three years ago are realistic for an SME today.
How it runs
Not a mega-project. Four steps with fixed dates.
Your enquiry
Short exchange
We look at your process and tell you honestly whether custom software is the right answer here. If it isn't, we say so.
1 week
Fixed price proposal or price estimation
Scope, timeline and price in writing. A fixed price when the scope is clear, otherwise a solid price estimation. No open-ended day-rate blank cheque.
2–6 weeks
First usable version
You work with a real version early, not with slides. After that we sharpen it in short cycles.
After that
Handover or ongoing support
Source code and data are yours, contractually, from day one. We keep supporting it if you want us to, not because you're locked in.
Typical cases
Small, unspectacular, in the way every single day.
Internal tools for CRM & ERP
The one function your CRM or ERP can't do, built as a lean add-on on top of the system you already run. No migration, no extra spreadsheet.
Scheduling & dispatch
Who is where tomorrow, with which vehicle and which material? On one screen instead of on the phone.
Inspections & documentation
Checklists on the phone, photos attached to the job, PDF report generated on completion.
Customer portal
Your customers see status, documents and dates themselves, instead of asking you.
Integrations
Connect accounting, ERP, shop or machine data so nobody types anything twice.
Reporting
The three numbers you actually look at. Current every day, with no manual work.
Frequent questions
What owners ask us first.
What does it cost?
Smaller applications usually land in the low five figures, larger systems above that. Before the project starts you get a fixed price proposal for a clearly described scope. If the scope is still open, you get a price estimation. If the budget doesn't fit, we say so straight away and not in month four.
How long until we have something?
A first usable version in 2 to 6 weeks, depending on scope. We deliver in short stages so you can decide after each stage whether to continue.
Will we be dependent on you forever?
No. Source code, data and infrastructure are yours, contractually, from project start. We use mainstream technology, no home-grown black box. Another team can take over at any time.
Who maintains it in three years?
Us, if you want: a maintenance agreement with a fixed monthly fee and agreed response times. Or your own IT, or a third party. Documentation and handover are part of the delivery, not an extra.
Where is our data hosted? Is it GDPR-compliant?
Your data sits in EU data centres (Frankfurt am Main), or in Switzerland or your own data centre on request. Data processing agreement, deletion policy and permission roles are standard, not a surcharge.
Aren't we too small at 15 employees?
No. The value doesn't depend on headcount but on how often a process repeats per day. That is exactly why we scope our projects small.
Who builds it? WOLKK is based in Singapore.
A dedicated team of senior engineers, run to German quality standards, with German-speaking project leadership as your single point of contact. You talk to a person, not a ticket system.

Tell us briefly what it's about: the process, the tool, the rough scope. We usually reply within one business day. With a fixed price proposal when the scope is clear, otherwise with a solid price estimation.
